"When we thought about designing Capella, and the lifestyle, and the human scale element of living at Capella, the first homes start on the third floor. We've got homes starting 30 feet in the air when you come into the community and look to your left and look to your right you're going to see all the natural landscaping, all the rock outcroppings, all the views and vistas through all aspects.

"And I think that is what Capella is coming across to all of us, is that you arrive in BC and there is the modern society that embraces you. And you can go home to what is something old and something new and to be able to drive past a vineyard before you hit your front door. I think that is luxury to the seventh degree.

Because we design around our philosophy of comfortable minimalism, there is very little that has been added as a result of current times, or current fads, or current philosophies. He does not want to see a column if he can avoid it. I think he is a modernist, but he likes things really classic, tailored, you know, pretty timeless. He is not about fashion. And to me, I think, this will be very apparent to the homeowner.

The scale, proportion, color balance is all there when you walk in and it just...you get the feeling when you walk in that's like this is a really special place.
